Daily life is full of stress, tests, and challenges. Finding ways to balance stress levels is important for both physical and mental health. Here are some common stress relievers we find helpful at times for ourselves.


  • Go for a walk outdoors or indoors/ by yourself or with a friend or family member.

  • Listen to some music that you enjoy.

  • Do a little cleaning or a chore around the house, this works surprisingly well!

  • Cooking or baking. Learn to make a homemade pie or pasta? Yum.

  • Watching a good TV show or movie.

  • Visit a local church.

  • Make a list of attainable ideas that would help you improve something in your life.

  • Offer to help and give assistance at an animal shelter.

  • Enjoy a warm toasty beverage and watch the sunset.

  • Learn something you didn't know about animals.

  • Talk to a friend, family member or coworker. Talk about anything. Open communication is a great way to improve brain fog and mental block.

  • Challenge yourself to learn a skill or craft. We don't have to be Picasso to enjoy doing something creative. Painting, drawing, music, writing, cooking, gardening, cars & vehicles, thrifting & selling online marketplaces, gardening, handmade bracelets, quilting & stitching, learning a second language.
